Deep Shot is a Ranger's passive skill. It gives every attack a chance to also inflict Bleed status to the enemy.

This, along with Rage, are the only skills in game that allow inflicting Bleed status. Bleed means the enemy will receive extra damage from future hits for a limited amount of time.

Even though Rage's status effect is stronger (more extra damage, longer duration), a Ranger can usually hit more foes than a Berserker due to its range and multiple-hit skills.

The amount of extra damage taken per hit and the duration of the Bleed status are determined by Deep Shot's level.
